The Metasphere MMIM, together with the STRATON IEC61131-3 programming language, has been deployed on the new Panama Metro system.

Line 1 of the system, due to be completed in Spring 2014, contains an MMIM at each station to interface the SCADA system to lighting control panels. In addition an MMIM is also deployed at each water pumping station to interface the SCADA to the pump controllers that are used to pump out water from the train lines. The project is being conducted in Panama by Digital Lifestyle Panama, a specialist building automation and electrical system contractor.
